Labor Day is a distinctly American holiday, created by workers to pay tribute to our Nation's resilient workforce and acknowledge its role as a source of America's strength, freedom and leadership. This is also an appropriate day to reflect on the hard work accomplished by all of you. This Labor Day, turn off all connections to your daily work routine and celebrate your time off and be present with your family, friends and fellow Airmen.
Though you have faced many challenges this year, you continue to persevere and work extraordinarily hard to generate unrivaled, disciplined combat-ready Citizen Airmen. Col. Biehl, Chief Biancur and I honored to be a part of it.
