Chief Bass meets unit members
Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force JoAnne Bass, third from right, visited with 932nd Airlift Wing members after an enlisted call Feb. 17, 2021, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. She came to discuss a multitude of topics with Airmen across all ranks and specialties. 932nd AW Airmen had a chance to ask questions of the highest enlisted member serving in the Air Force, and the 19th chief master sergeant appointed as CMSAF. Bass provides direction for the enlisted force and represents their interests. Bass also serves as the personal adviser to the Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Air Force for all matters encompassing welfare, readiness, morale, and proper utilization and progress for Airmen serving within the active duty, guard and reserve force.
