Scott Air Force Base, ILL. -- Citizen Airmen assigned to the 932nd Civil Engineering Squadron took turns driving a Humvee on Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, August 25, 2020. During unit training assemblies and annual training days Citizen Airmen utilize that time to work on their individual and unit readiness such as Humvee training. The Humvee has many roles, it was designed primarily for personnel and light cargo transport behind front lines. CES Citizen Airmen train to drive the multi-functional vehicle in order to be ready to deploy on short-notice and to be capable, combat-ready, and lethal Airmen.
