AMDS was informed that they will not receive the shipment of the influenza vaccine by the Oct UTA. The mass flu lines are cancelled for this month. The expected date of delivery is not yet known. There is no guarantee that it will be here in time for Nov UTA. The “go red” date for the influenza vaccine still remains 15 Dec 2019.
Due to the unknown get well date, please take advantage of the zero cost at retail pharmacies for TRICARE members if you can, and then to turn the documentation into the 932 AMDS for update. AMDS suggests that you call the pharmacy of your choice prior to dropping in to ensure they have a supply of the influenza vaccine as some in the area are currently out.
