9/11 REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY – SEPT. 11
The base community is invited to a Patriot Day Reveille Ceremony tomorrow, Sept. 11, at 7 a.m. in front of Bldg. P-3 with guest speaker, Jennifer Welch, who was at the Pentagon in 2001.
Building P-3 is directly behind the Old Scott Field Gate on the left. Please note, there will be no parking at this building prior to and during the reveille ceremony.
Following the ceremony at 7:45, all are invited to a 9/11 Moving Tribute 6.5 mile run/walk at Warrior Park. Three American flags and a Flag of Honor will be passed from the first participant to the last. The Flag of Honor contains the names of all those who perished in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, United flights 175 and 93, and American flights 11 and 77.
