Wing changes command Published Jan. 9, 2006 By Tech. Sgt. Gerald Sonnenberg 932nd Airlift Wing SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Col. Maryanne Miller took the reins of the 932nd Airlift Wing from Col. Donald Fletcher, Jr., in a ceremony at Scott Air Force Base during the unit's training assembly on Sunday. Colonel Miller previously served as the 932nd Operations Group commander before becoming the wing commander this year. The presiding official before the crowd of military and civilian guests was Maj. Gen. Robert E. Duignan, who is Commander, 4th Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, March Air Reserve Base, Calif. The 4th Air Force has command supervision of the Air Force Reserve's long-range airlift and air refueling units located throughout the continental United States, Hawaii and Guam.The 932nd Airlift Wing is made up of approximately 1,000 men and women from a variety of small and large towns throughout the United States. The wing currently flies the C-9C aircraft at Scott AFB.
