Daylight Savings Time is already upon us.

The 932nd Airlift Wing has unit assembly this weekend; in addition, we will be changing our clocks this weekend at 2:00 a.m., Sunday, March 9th...and while springing forward means we get more daylight, there are those who are really thrown off by the loss of that one hour of sleep.

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine is offering tips to get through the time
change.

The Academy says you should readjust your sleep schedule a few days in
advance, by going to bed earlier. Also have dinner an hour earlier. And,
they suggest keeping a light schedule on the Monday after the time change,
since for some it really disrupts their daytime functioning.

Some advice for parents to get their children ready for the time change includes putting them to bed at least 15-30 minutes earlier than their scheduled bedtime.

I'm just trying to get everyone mentally prepared for the time change during
the UTA weekend.

Every little bit helps! Please pass on the reminder to your reservists too.
