SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --  Several base events are coming up at the end of the month and beginning of October.

Base-Wide Yard Sale

Sign up at Outdoor Recreation to sell items at the next Base Wide Yard Sale on Sept. 27, 8 a.m. to noon, next to the Teen Center/ALS Pavilion area. 

The cost is $10 which includes one table, two chairs and an area to display items. Deadline for sign ups is at noon Sept. 26. Reservations can be made online at www.375services.com/IA/odr/yard, over the phone or in person. 

Full refunds are given with a 48 hour cancellation notification or if the staff cancels the sale. For more information, contact Red at Outdoor Recreation at 256-2067.

Oktoberfest at the Scott Club

The Scott Club is hosting their Oktoberfest on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 5 to 9 p.m. Listen to the great sounds of the Die Spitzbaum Band while enjoying Jaeger schnitzel, fried potatoes, brats and more! Event is FREE to Members and $10.95 for Non-members. Enter into the Squadron Competition.

The Squadron with the most participation will win $100 towards their next club function. Squadrons must call in to reserve their squadron table. For more information contact the club at 744-1333.
