Youth center hosts experience for military families Published Oct. 28, 2008 By Services SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Here's an opportunity for fun with your military family. Sesame Street Experience for Military Families The Scott AFB Youth Center is proud to announce that they will be hosting the upcoming Sesame Street Experience for Military Families on Nov. 1 and 2. Military families who attend the experience will see a live character performance and receive giveaways and outreach materials from Talk, Listen, Connect and other partners. This free traveling tour to military installations across the country is stopping here at Scott AFB to perform four shows. On Nov. first, the show times are 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., while show times on Nov. 2 are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The Youth Center will begin issuing the free tickets for each performance on a first come, first served basis. The Youth Center will continue to issues these tickets out weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until all are gone. Tickets are required for all shows. For more details or availability, call 744-9862.
