Rock climbing course offered

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- A rock climbing, rappelling & camping opportunity is offered in November.

Join Outdoor Recreation as we travel to Rock Drapers Bluff, just outside Marion, IL, for a weekend of Rock Climbing, Rappelling and Camping, Nov. 14-16.

Buses will depart Friday at 5 p.m., returning Sunday around 12 p.m. Cost is $235/person, which includes transportation, all meals (except Friday's dinner & any personal snacks/drinks), rock climbing gear, basic rock climbing full day instruction with licensed instructors and basic wilderness tips from certified guide with all camping gear provided.

Learn rock climbing basics; climbing movement, rope management, communication, top rope set up, rappelling, belaying and knots.
