Lt. Col. Wesley Kilmer, 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron commander, retired April 9, 2011 at Scott Air Force Base, Il., wrapping up a career that began in 1976. Colonel Kilmer spent six years enlisted before receiving his commission. He has held a number of positions in the Air Force Reserve aeromedical evacuation field, before becoming the 932nd AES commander. He said "I was proud of serving in the Air Force Reserve and working the AE mission." His retirement plans include sleeping late on weekends and spending time with his family.
