Lt. Col. Brandon Lorton, 73rd Airlift Squadron pilot, congratulates Col. Esteban “Esty” Ramirez, the vice commander of the 932d Airlift Wing, as he exits his last C-40 flight at the 932nd Airlift Wing Nov. 4, 2018, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The colonel will be transferring to the U.S Transportation Command. The wing flies the C-40C aircraft and is the premier distinguished visitor airlift operation in the Air Force Reserve Command. With over 1,000 members, the wing equips trains and organizes a ready force of Citizen Airmen to support and maintain all facets of air base operations involving infrastructure and security.
