Colonel Jennifer M. Goetz
Colonel Jennifer Goetz is the Commander of the 932d Mission Support Group at Scott AFB, Illinois. In this role, she leads Civil Engineers, Force Support, Logistics Readiness, and Security Forces Airmen and is responsible for organizing, training, and equipping nearly 300 Reservists and civilians assigned to the group. The 932d Mission Support Group enables airpower and satisfies world-wide Combatant Commander needs with mission-ready Airmen. Her team provides support services to 1,100 wing personnel and is available to support mission partner organizations around the installation.
Colonel Goetz earned her commission in 2002 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Detachment 890, University of Virginia. She is a Force Support Officer and has served in a variety of human resources, services, program and project management, logistics, intelligence, executive support and command positions at wing, Major Command, Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Space Force and Combatant Command levels. Colonel Goetz transitioned to the Air Force Reserve in September 2006 and has served in Traditional Reserve, Department of the Air Force civilian, Air Reserve Technician, and Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) capacities. During her career, Colonel Goetz spent several years on Military Personnel Appropriation (MPA) orders in cross-functional positions with HQ Air Combat Command, Langley AFB, Virginia; the 62d Mission Support Group, McChord AFB, Washington; an Air Expeditionary Force deployment to Southwest Asia; HQ Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, Illinois; and HQ Space Force, Pentagon, Washington, DC. Prior to her current position, Colonel Goetz was IMA to the Commander and Senior IMA of the 88th Air Base Wing at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
In her civilian capacity, Colonel Goetz holds a clinical social work license in the state of Illinois. She formerly worked in higher education at a private research university and specializes in social and economic development, veteran social work and organizational development.
