About Us

The 932nd Airlift Wing’s mission is to generate unrivaled, disciplined, combat-ready Citizen Airmen anytime, anywhere.

In pursuit of this mission, the 932nd Airlift Wing envisions delivering Citizen Airmen trained and ready to meet global challenges in all environments. The wing achieves this by prioritizing the support of combat-ready Airmen who can balance resources while supporting combatant commander needs.

Located at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, with a total force of more than 1,000 personnel, the Air Force Reserve 932nd Airlift Wing trains, equips, and employs C-40C aircraft airlift to fly senior civilian and military leaders worldwide. The wing comprises the 932nd Maintenance Group, 932nd Medical Group, 932nd Mission Support Group, 932nd Operations Group, Wing Staff Agency, 73rd Airlift Squadron, and other subordinate squadrons.

 

The 932nd Operations Group (OG) is one of four groups assigned to the 932nd AW. Comprised of both active duty and reserve personnel, the group is responsible for flying the C-40C Clipper aircraft and they provide safe and reliable airlift to our nation's leaders in locations around the world. The Operations Group's 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron provides sensitive, mission-critical en-route care to patients to and between medical treatment facilities around the globe.

The 932nd Medical Group (MDG) trains and deploys more than 350 medics around the world from the 932nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron and the 932nd Medical Squadron. The medical group also ensures its members are medically qualified for global deployments with services from the 932nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron provides worldwide medical services to the warfighter from the front line to the continental United States fixed medical treatment facilities.

The 932nd Mission Support Group (MSG) comprises civil engineers, force support, logistics readiness, and security forces Airmen and provides support services to wing personnel and is available to support additional personnel in mission partner organizations around Scott Air Force Base.

The 932nd Maintenance Group (MXG), comprised of 220 personnel, is responsible for all organizational-level maintenance and logistics support for all four C-40C aircraft.

The 932nd Wing Staff Agencies (WSA) provide critical support to the wing and a wide variety of services to 932nd Airlift Wing members. WSA agencies include Financial Management, Psychological Health, Public Affairs, Equal Opportunity, the Inspector General, Staff Judge Advocate, Wing Safety, Command Post, Resilience Integration, the Historian and Chaplain.
