Master Sgt. Thomas Dissette, a member of the 932nd Airlift Wing's Medical Group, 932nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, teaches a class on taking care of critically ill patients Mar. 6, 2018, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He works through the steps required to use a piece of equipment called the "Propaq", which controls monitoring his simulated robotic patient, also known as "simulation man" (in background). The Propaq MD offers multiple display modes to operate in bright sunlight or during night missions (NVG-friendly display). The battery system and AC power charger provide worldwide sea, land, and air operating capabilities for this device that Dissette used in the class. The system can monitor all physiologic parameters and provide numerous shocks for over six hours on a single battery charge. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
