The 932nd Airlift Wing public affairs shop provided a portion of a base tour and glimpse of military life to various college ROTC cadets, including a stop at this wing C-40C in the hangar May 1, 2019, where maintainers showed off the cockpit while flight attendants gave the students a look at the back of the plane's galley area. The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program offered at more than 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States, that prepares young adults to become officers in the military. The cadets learned that 932nd Airlift Wing members from four main groups help support the flying mission of the wing which includes four of the C-40C aircraft at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The ROTC students asked many questions and got a close up look at today's Air Force Reserve "Citizen Airmen" in action. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
