Team bids farewell following final flight

Colonel Esteban L. “Esty” Ramirez, the vice commander of the 932d Airlift Wing, is congratulated by Senior Master Sgt. Dave Brown, following Ramirez's last C-40 aircraft flight with the 932nd Airlift Wing on Nov. 4, 2018, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He will be transferring to the U.S Transportation Command shortly. The wing flies the C-40C aircraft and is the premier distinguished visitor airlift operation in the Air Force Reserve Command. With over 1,000 members, the wing equips trains and organizes a ready force of Citizen Airmen to support and maintain all facets of air base operations, involving infrastructure and security. Vice makes the rounds

The new vice commander at the 932nd Airlift Wing, Colonel Esteban “Esty” Ramirez, is introduced by Col. Jonathan Philebaum, 932nd Airlift Wing commander (center), to Senior Airman Samantha Strom, an emergency medical technician in the 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. The flying unit takes care of patients in the air on a variety of aircraft, and must be worldwide ready throughout the year.
