Former crewmembers of submarines USS Cavalla SS - SSK - AGSS - 244 and USS Cavalla SSN 684 gather with their shipmates, families and friends at Seawolf Park in Galveston, Texas, for the “All Cavalla Reunion Memorial Service,” Apr. 23, 2016. The bi-annual reunion is an opportunity for former shipmates to reconnect, make new friends and honor the memory of those submariners who have passed. U.S. Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Jeff Walston, a public affairs technician assigned to the 913th Airlift Group at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., served on the USS Cavalla (SSN 684) from 1977 to 1979, during his 22.5 years in the U.S. Navy. Seawolf Park is dedicated to the USS Seawolf (SS 197) which is still on Eternal Patrol with 83 crewmembers and 17 Army personnel. (Courtesy photo by Eva Walston)
