Colonel Kilmer savors 35 year career

Lt. Col. Wesley Kilmer, 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron commander, retired April 9, wrapping up a career that began in 1976. Colonel Kilmer spent six years enlisted before receiving his commission. He has held a number of positions in the Air Force Reserve aeromedical evacuation field, before becoming the 932nd AES commander. He said " I was proud of serving in the Air Force Reserve and working the AE mission." His retirement plans include sleeping on weekends and spending time with his family. (U.S. Air Force/Tech. Sgt.
