Scott AFB, Ill. --
It is that time of year to remember those who are less fortunate.
The Rising Six is sponsoring a Hat and Glove tree for a women's shelter. The organization, made up of Airmen who are rising in rank with six stripes or more, is asking for donations of new hats, gloves and scarves for both adults and children.
The Hat and Glove tree is set up in the bay of Bldg 3652. A box has also been placed in the entryway of Bldg 450 for donations. These important clothes for winter will be delivered in person by a proud representative after the January Unit Training Assembly (January 5th and 6th). As a reminder, be prepared for mandatory assembly during the change of command on Sunday.
If you have any other questions about this special Rising Six project, please get with one of the wing representatives.
