Wing thanks deployers

The 932nd Airlift Wing said farewell to a large group of deployers during the unit training assembly on Dec. 2, 2017, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Here Maj. Emily Stuckey speaks with Chaplain (Capt.) Allen Haas and Chaplain (Lt. Col.) William Thornton, at one of the many informational booths that were provided to help all unit members. When these officers join the Air Force as a chaplain, they are called upon to enhance the spiritual resiliency of today’s Airmen. A diverse chaplain corps is crucial to support the needs of the many because chaplains are responsible for religious observances in a culturally, racially and religiously diverse environment at home base and while deployed.
