Proud Air Force Reservist at the 932nd Airlift Wing retires
December marked the time for final Air Force Reserve thoughts from retiring Master Sgt. Don Schaeffer, 932nd Airlift Wing, 932nd Maintenance Group. When asked what he is going to miss the most about the wing and those early morning drill weekends in Illinois, he said, "With the wing, it will be the mission. It is great to meet the VIPs’ we move around the world and going to see other countries. I love to travel and would do so at the drop of a hat. It will probably be not seeing the friends I have made and the comraderie that goes with it." U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Stan Paregien
