Colonel Witzel and his new "baby" C-40C
Lt. Col. Rob Witzel was never happier than the day the 932nd Airlift Wing's new C-40C model was resting on its perch infront of the 932nd Operations Group building. The model has a wing span of 16 feet by 15 feet long and weighs 250 pounds. Witzel said the project took more than a year to design, prepare bids and construct. Two smaller models are displayed indoors. The 932nd Airlift Wing flies the C-40C and C-9C aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Stan Paregien)
