Sheet metal guru wraps up 32-year military career

Master Sgt. Jimmie Evans last duty day was May 2. Evans has been a member of the 932nd Maintenance Squadron for 19 years. He has worked in sheet metal, the paint shop and, most recently, the machine shop. During his time at the 932nd MXS, Evans has helped repair and paint numerous C-9A Nightengales used for aeromedical airlift. As the mission changed, he worked on the C9-C and C-40C aircraft used for executive airllift. Evans has served a combined 32 years of active and reserve duty.
