Boss Day welcomes reserve employers

Master Sgt. David Pinkham answers questions about the training requirements of explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) specialists and various tools they use, like the remote-controlled robot at center. The visit took place during the annual Boss Day tour at the 932nd Airlift Wing, October 13, 2018 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Pinkham is an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) specialist assigned to the 932nd Civil Engineer Squadron. Boss Day helps civilian employers better understand the Air Force Reserve mission and strengthens the employer-reservist relationship. The 932nd AW is made up of four core groups including the 932nd Maintenance Group, Medical Group, Mission Support Group, and Operations Group. The Illinois unit is the only Air Force Reserve Command wing, attached to 22nd Air Force, that flies the C-40C. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
