FSS VETERANS DAY HOURS

*Cardinal Creek Golf Course – Course & Pro Shop Open both days (café closed)

*Warmer Fitness Center – Closed for the holiday, however, facility is open
to authorized after-hours users 

*James Sports Center – Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days

*Stars & Strikes Bowling Center – Open Nov. 11, 1 to 6 p.m.; Open Nov. 12,
8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

CFC NOW UNDERWAY
The Combined Federal Campaign is NOW underway.  Please consider giving to an
organization of your choosing and help out those less fortunate.  The active
campaign runs until Nov. 30, but the online giving portal will be open until
Jan. 11, 2019.  

MCKENDREE MILITARY APPRECIATION GAME – NOV. 9

McKendree University is hosting a Military Appreciation Game at 7:30 p.m. on
Nov. 9 at the McKendree MetroRecPlex (205 Rec Plex Drive, O’Fallon, Ill.).
Admission is free to all military and family members with valid ID, and five
military members will be honored with jersey presentations.

PAINTING EVENTS – NOV. 9 & 10

An adult Paint and Sip event will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the
Arts and Crafts Center. A children’s “Crumbs and Canvas” event will also
take place from 1-3 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the Arts and Crafts Center. Cost is
$35 per person for the adult class and $15/person for the children’s class.
Price includes all painting supplies. Bring your own drinks and snacks.

VETERANS AGAINST SUICIDE AWARENESS GALA - NOV. 10

You are cordially invited to attend the "Veterans Against Suicide Awareness
Gala" in recognition of Suicide Awareness and Prevention and to support our
veterans and active duty members enduring suicidal ideations and other
mental health issues. This impactful event will take place on Nov. 10 at 5
p.m. at the Regency Conference Center in O'Fallon. Call 618-792-6747 for

HOT!  VETERANS PARADE NOV 10 NOTE:
This weekend is the Saint Louis Veteran's Parade held on Saturday, November 10th, meeting near the Soldier's Memorial downtown (around Olive and 13th).  Parade starts at NOON so try to be down there by 11:15 a.m and we are spot #14 this year next to fire trucks, a locomotive and The Gateway Band.  Uniform is ABU's and please dress warmly with gloves!  Family and retired military are welcome too.


SCOTT VETERANS DAY PROGRAM – NOV. 11

The Scott AFB Cub Scout Pack 21, Boy Scout Troop 5, Girl Scouts, and
Heritage Girls, with host, the VFW Post 4183, invite you to their Annual
Veterans Day program, at the VFW Post just outside the Belleville Gate. The
program begins at 9 am, with guest speaker Col Sharon M. Johnson, Commander,
932nd Maintenance Group, Scott AFB IL. A flag retirement ceremony will
directly follow at 10 am. 

VETERANS DAY BROADCAST AT THE EXCHANCE – NOV 12

ESPN radio will be broadcasting live from the Exchange from 10 a.m. to 6:30
p.m. Nov. 12.  All are welcome to stop by to say hello.

ARC BLOOD DRIVE – NOV. 13

The next American Red Cross Blood Drive is Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at
the James Gym. Refreshments will be provided.
