3/1/2012 - SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Risky Brisky Bustle Half Marathon is Saturday.

As a reminder to those who may be supporting runners, in observance of American Red Cross Month, the Fitness Center will be hosting the Risky Brisky Bustle Half Marathon on March 3 beginning at 7 a.m. The 13 mile Marathon will start and finish at the Fitness Center pool parking lot. Awards will be given to the first place male and female paid finishers along with random prize drawings for all additional paid participants. Entry fee is $9 and includes a short sleeve t-shirt. To be guaranteed a t-shirt on race day, you must have signed up by Feb. 28. A minimum of 25 participants are needed prior to noon Friday, March 2 to hold this event. All active duty, Reserve, Air National Guard, dependents, retirees and DOD civilians are eligible to participate. Note: All runs are free events unless the participant wishes to purchase a t-shirt and also be eligible for awards or prizes. For more information, call 256-1218.
