Year of the Airman story: 932nd AES Airman earned heroism award for saving lives

Senior Airman Katlyn Ledbetter and Master Sgt. Jose Gomez, Jr., 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron flight medics, practice offloading medical equipment from a C-130 Hercules AE fuselage trainer (FuT) as part of their regular AE training regimen. AE flight medics work on a daily basis to stay up-to-date on flight regulations, familiarization with medical emergency equipment and aircraft, while also maintaining medical certifications, so they are prepared to treat patients anywhere and anytime.
