Maintenance checks communications

The 932nd Airlift Wing and 932nd Maintenance Group (MXG), are responsible for leading people who train and equip Airmen to inspect, maintain, and repair Air Force Reserve Command C-40C planes at Scott Air Force Base. Here 932nd MXG Airmen check cockpit controls, electronics, and headsets to communicate with the tower. This ongoing attention to detail enables the 932nd Operations Group to fly distinguished visitor (DV) airlift around the world, anywhere they are needed by the nation's leaders. The Airmen of the MXG made various inspection checks on the plane on a chilly winter day, January 2, 2020 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The Illinois unit, which is part of 22nd Air Force, under Air Force Reserve Command, flies four of the C-40C planes worldwide. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
