Wing honors Tech. Sgt. Anthony C. Campbell, Jr.

Col. Glenn Collins, 932nd Airlift Wing commander, and Col. Lance Turner, 932nd Mission Support Group commander, render a salute during a 10-year commemoration ceremony in honor of Tech. Sgt. Anthony Campbell, fallen 932nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, Jan. 12, 2020, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Campbell was killed in action Dec. 15, 2009, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, while serving with the 755th Bravo EOD Flight. "Tech. Sgt. Tony Campbell's passing in 2009 was a tremendous loss for the EOD community, the reverberations of which are still felt today. He died doing what he loved, protecting his nation and his brothers, and he left behind a beautiful legacy that we must never forget. It is our solemn duty to remember Tony, to honor his sacrifice, and to pay tribute to his family. Today's ceremony was our most humble attempt to do just that,” said Maj. Daniel Myatt, 932nd EOD flight commander. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Christopher Parr)
