Scott Air Force Base, ILL. -- Lt. Col. Julie Novy, 932nd Airlift Wing, Inspector General Office, presented Senior Airman Warren McKeithen, 932nd AW, Medical Group, with an Inspector General coin on July 10, 2021.
During an active shooter drill McKeithen efficiently conducted a recall of the Medical Group and realized there was a member who was non responsive. The drill simulated the death of that member and he was able to relay that one of his members was on base and was not found to the wing. McKeithen reacted to the situation properly unlike many units before him, earning him the IG coin!
