Dear fellow Citizen Airmen,

As we close out this busy December UTA and another productive year, I want to wish you and your family Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year, as I may not see you before December 31.  My wife and I have enjoyed meeting many of you throughout the year and we sincerely wish the best for you in 2020 as part of our extended “932nd Airlift Wing family.”  I encourage you to also take a moment to remember Senior Airman Jaleah Powell, a fellow reservist, who passed away unexpectedly last month.  She was a member of the 932nd Medical Group and any loss in our wing is a loss for the Air Force Reserve Command, and the greater Air Force family as a whole.  A memorial service is being planned during the January UTA and more information will follow from the chaplains and Medical Group.  In addition, I hope you also take time out to spend special moments with those you love within your family and friend circles.

I’m proud to serve with you, my fellow Airmen, and I truly value each one of you as we do our best for the Air Force Reserve Command and the United States.

My family and I wish you all the best this season.  Be safe traveling home from this drill and I’ll see you in 2020.

Sincerely,

GLENN COLLINS, Col, USAF

Commander
