At center, Master Sgt. Thomas Dissette, 932nd Airlift Wing, 932nd Medical Group, 932nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, teaches a class on taking care of critically ill patients recently at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He works through the steps required to use a piece of equipment called the "Propaq", which helps monitor his simulated robotic patient, also known as "simulation man" (in background). The Propaq MD offers multiple display modes to operate in bright sunlight or during night missions (NVG-friendly display). The battery system and AC power charger provide worldwide sea, land, and air operating capabilities for the rugged device. (U.S. Air Force photo by Lt. Col. Stan Paregien)
